| I'm just thinking... maybe I should do a proper burial service for my xanga... i've had it for maybe around 5 years? I still remember when I first started experimenting with different layouts and how absolutely raptured I was when I fiddled around with colour schemes that worked, how the music uploaded and played, how i got the opacity to work, and how i've taught myself a bit of amateur-ish java script he UAI for the UTS Design Degree is 95.90. Yeah, i'm kinda screwed so better buckle down and work... which is why i'm on xanga and facebook - ironic isn't it? clarisse | | |
| So this year is HSC year... my parents have given me the doctor/lawyer/accountant lecture at least five times this year. They can't bear the thought of their asian daughter doing something like graphic design after school. My dad reckons that it's stupid of me for doing painting as my art major work. My mum says nothing. I feel stupid because I'm stressed out... about what? nothing really. I've gotten different 'advice' from different people who've been there and done that. A person says don't stress about it, another says I've only got one shot so might as well work hard, another says don't even bother doing anything. The parentals have gotten me a laptop for this year, I've dubbed him Lancelot. I was surprised that there were no strings attached.... until they gave me the UAI deal... if you want to know what it is, ask later. clarisse and yeah, natasha, you're right. there's nothing to talk about anymore | | |
| yesterday Sophie came to my new place and bummed around with me. then we were listening to 'hey there delilah' and wondered whether they had songs with our names in it. Sophie was complaining about the fact that there'd never be a song called sophie if delilah was already written about. So we googled sophie lyrics and up comes goodshirt, a new zealand band. we then typed in Sophie by goodshirt into youtube and a very cute song and video came up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eZo1LQ9EEs when we typed in 'clarisse lyrics' some freaky song about the silence of the lambs came up by venom. It's actualy really morbid and stalker like... http://www.youtube.com/v/LLHeOzEtwXM clarisse | | |
| "You can fool some of the people all of the time every year, and you can fool all of the people a few times every year, but you only need to fool a majority of people for one day every few years - and you've got a democracy!" - Michael Leunig We'd like to welcome Rudd to the game... clarisse | | |
| first driving lesson today! unlike most of my friends who have gotten/are about to get their p's, i've just started learning (go us angelica!) i suppose that's what happens when you're a year younger than everyone else.. sometimes i wonder what it would have been like if the teachers back in yr2 actually put me in yr1, where i was supposed to be. hmm hmm hmm. ya, that's about it. does anyone know where the parliament house thing in the city is (no, not the one in canberra)? is it near martin place? what's the nearest train station... clarisse | | |
